Royal Goedewaagen

In 1610 the foundation was laid in Gouda for the Royal Goedewaagen earthenware factory. Royal Goedewaagen makes handmade ceramics and is unique in this as one of the oldest pottery factories in the Netherlands. Nowadays Royal Goedewaagen makes just as traditional pottery as 400 years ago. However, due to the most modern design techniques, the number of possibilities is many times greater.
