This house depicts the house at "Korte Prinsengracht 7" in Amsterdam. Amsterdam canal houses have various types of gables , like step, triangular, bell and neck gables. These gables refer to the front apex of a roof. Putting gables on houses was very popular between 1600 and 1800. This house has a typical bell gable, the protruding hoist beams are used to bring heavy furniture and big objects through the windows into the house as the stairways are too narrow. In this version of the canal house the front is decorated with a butcher shop. It is carefully colored and decorated on all sides and comes in a plastic gift box. This canal house is made of polystone and the house is 11.5 cm tall, 5 cm deep and 4 cm wide.
